Alana Hyde

Alana’s experience in the Entertainment Industry is wide & varied. She began her dance training at 3 in all facets of dance (Classical Ballet, Jazz, National Character, Modern Theatrical Dance, Contemporary) & as an older student studied Tap, Adagio & Classical singing. Alana continues her professional development to this day and undertakes Master classes with leaders in the field of dance and childhood education (such as Emmy Award winning Mia Michaels).

Alana’s first professional “gig” as a Ross Coleman Dancer in the 1988 bi-centennial Concert ignited her passion for performing. She worked professionally as a dancer, singer & choreographer from 18 years of age until her late 30’s. Alana performed in and co-created Night Club Entertainment shows & Theatre Restaurant and as a dancer toured Australia with a Variety style Tribute Band performing in Clubs & Cabaret venues. Her choreographic credits include Musical Theatre, cabaret, award winning routines, Commercial/promotional routines, Carols in the City, NRL half time entertainment, opening extravaganza for 60th Anniversary South Pacific Dancesport Championships, movement for featured artists- Southern Stars, Kazzajazz shows on the Gold Coast, Disneyland & California Adventure Park & Disneyland Hong Kong and Universal Studios USA.

2018 marked her 30th anniversary as a qualified dancing teacher. And in 2019 she was awarded READY SET DANCE “Most Loved Dance Teacher” in Australia & New Zealand. She has trained dancers that have gained contracts around the world. Alana is an accredited teacher with ADA (F.A.T.D) and READY SET DANCE loves to pass on her knowledge with Kazzajazz students.
